End Polio Now is a project of Rotary International. Rotary has joined forces with four other global organizations—the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation—in a public-private partnership led by national governments, to eradicate polio worldwide through the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. Lincoln Rotary Club 14 has contributed over $60,000 as part of the worldwide Rotary International effort to eradicate polio.
