Seeing your city from an airplane can give a whole new perspective on life. Using Google Earth to look at your neighborhood sheds an entirely different light on your house and yard. Seeing the earth from space can change a person’s worldview. On Tuesday, December 4, our speaker will challenge us to seek a totally different perspective on life and the events around us. Preeta Bansal first shared her insightful talk at the Inspire Women Awards Luncheon recently and we’ve asked her to share it again for Rotary 14. Bansal (daughter of longtime Rotary 14 member M.K. Bansal) was raised in Lincoln, went out into the world and made an impact and is now back in our community. Her talk will not only challenge you to look at things differently, it’ll inspire you as you consider this community where we live.
Last week, Roger Lempke introduced our newest member Todd Crawford. Todd is transferring Rotarian from Grand Island noon, where he served as Club President, Board Member, and as Fundraising Chair. During his tenure as Fundraising Chair, the club raised over $80,000 to support club projects and local charities. Please introduce yourself and welcome Todd when you see him. Welcome Todd to Rotary #14!
