Recently, Randy Hawthorne introduced our newest member, Tobin Spangler. Tobin is the business development director for Lacey Construction, Inc based out of Wahoo NEBRASKA. Tobin has been with Lacey Construction for 3 years. Tobin is married to Abby Spangler who is a 6th-grade teacher at Raymond Central High School. They have 3 kids, Paxton(10), Emmett(6), and Nora(6months).
Lacey Construction, Inc. is a commercial General Contractor company that has been around for 19 years. Some projects they have completed recently are a strip mall on North 27th st and Holdridge. LES conference addition on 27th street. And currently working on Arbor Industries a 10,000 sq ft addition. This is a pre-engineered metal building addition used for the production of pallets. Recently, Andrew Loudon introduced our newest member, Shawntell Nevada Kroese recently accepted a position as a supply chain professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She also is actively working as a business and political consultant.
Shawntell is married to her husband Bruce. They have 4 children, Ellie (college to be a teacher), Reese (senior), Hadley (4th grade), Landon (2nd grade).
Shawntell has been very active with the community she currently serves on the Go Red for Women (supporting the American Heart Association) Women's Executive Committee and the Susan G Komen Advisory Board. She also is actively involved with the Lane Thomas Foundation to help give honor and light to Lane's life and to support families of children needing life-saving transplants. Read more, click here.

Last week, TRF Chair Scott Larson recognized PDG Rod Bates as a Paul Harris Fellow +4. Rod is happily retired from the Public Telecommunications industry. He served as Rotary District Governor. Rod has been a Rotarian for 27 years and maintains a perfect Rotary attendance for 8 years. Rod Bates' total TRF contribution is $5,000. Congratulations, Rod and thank you for your generosity.

Jay Wexler is distancing himself from Nebraska and he is currently skiing in Utah. He made it to Salt Lake City Rotary 24 where he bragged the fact that he comes from Rotary 14.
