Last week, PDG Sharon Wherry, Jessica Spitsen is the Director of Business Development and Communications for BVH Architecture, where she started in 2017. Jessica moved to Nebraska from Florida in 2013, which introduced her to what seasons are and how snow works.
After years in advertising helping different brands find their voice – from student loan companies to hospices to downtown associations – Jessica found BVH as a place where her interest in wayfinding signage, well-designed downtown streetscapes, and lovingly preserved history are appreciated. Read more about Jessica, click here.
Thank you, Sharon, for sponsoring Jessica to Rotary. Welcome to Rotary, Jessica!

Recently, Dr. Klaus Hartmann gave a compelling speech on why he and his spouse Gisela give to Rotary. Klaus believes that we give "because Rotarians are optimists. Helping others is empowering and makes us feel happier and more fulfilled. We give because we want to introduce our children to the importance of generosity, a trait we want them to carry on in years to come." Read the full text of Klaus' speech, click here.
Klaus is generously matching donations to the Rotary International Foundation, dollar for dollar up to $200 per Rotarian. Donate now, click here.
