Rotary: A Story of Spiraling Up

Carol Horner is President and Founder of Synchronicity, Inc. She works with companies and organizations that want their employees, teams, and leaders to "be in synch" and make impact. She is currently authoring a book about the Spiral of Accountability.

Carol has been a Rotarian since 2005 and was President of her club, Rotary Club of Council Bluffs, in 2010-11. She has served District 5650 as District Trainer, Area Governor, and District Governor 2021-22. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and sustaining member of The Rotary Foundation. Her Rotary awards include 2013 RI Avenues of Service Citation; 2016 and 2018 District Chair of the Year; and 2017 Rotarian of the Year for her Club. She is a facilitator for the Heartland Rotary Leadership Institute.

Carol enjoys wine and scuba diving although not at the same time! She also enjoys exercise, sports, kayaking, golf, and the outdoors. Her favorite thing about being a Rotarian is her opportunity to be a part of saving the world!
